The Association of Illinois Middle Schools is planning another Middle School Administrators Roundtable session for Wednesday, October 8, 2014.

The main discussion topic will be Middle School Advocacy.

The Association of Illinois Middle-Grade Schools (AIMS) is seeking Illinois middle schools who are interested in pursuing designation as an Illinois Horizon School to Watch (IHSTW)”. Illinois Horizon Schools to Watch are exemplary middle schools that display academic excellence, developmental responsiveness, social equity and sound organizational structures/processes.

There are currently 25 Illinois Middle Schools that have achieved IHSTW designations. These sites are among 367 Schools to Watch recognized by the National Forum to Accelerate Middle-Grades Reform.
