Molding Mini-Lesson Magic with Content Literacy

Picture the classroom that has the teacher ready to teach…to engage…to wave that magic wand over the watchful, enthusiastic adolescents, who return each day for more--dribble, dribble, shoot, slam dunk!  You either have to BE that magician or be willing to include numerous best practice strategies in your reading/writing activities with students. We are expected to conduct meaningful mini-lessons in both reading and writing—across our content areas.  And—we cannot afford to waste a minute!  Learn how to conduct such content literacy mini-lessons with purpose, intent, and energy!
