While Sue has taught English, literature, writing, and social studies to adolescents for over forty years, she has just recently retired from the education department at North Central College. For sixteen years, she taught/mentored teachers in undergraduate and graduate programs—both urban and suburban--with an emphasis on content reading/ literacy, integrated curriculum, methods of teaching middle school, teacher leadership, the new diversity and classroom management.
