Nuts & Bolts of Standards Based Grading

This workshop is intended to assist teachers in understanding the “how” of implementing standards-based grading. Bring a unit of study and be ready to dig deep into the material to move beyond traditional grading. Collaborate with the facilitators and other participants to write academic and life skill rubrics, as well as formative and summative assessments. Finally, the issue of gradebooks and other nuts and bolts, such as parent education, will be discussed. If you are ready to implement some (or all) of the ideas of standards based grading, this workshop is a must!
